Nguyen Real Estate provides a boutique, customer-focused, one-stop-shop for property owners, buyers, landlords and tenants. We provide all the professional real estate agency services you would expect such leasing, sales and property management services in Footscray and surrounding inner west suburbs.
What makes us different, however, is that we live and breathe the Footscray area. Before setting up the business, founder and director Kevin Nguyen spent a lot of time researching the local market and the requirements of property owners, buyers, landlords and renters in this multicultural and vibrant suburb.
As a result, he realised that the Footscray market was under-serviced when it came to finding a localised, professional real estate service. There was a large demand for real estate agents who could offer a specialised understanding of the area’s demographics. According to RP Data in 2006, 11% of the area’s population has a Vietnamese background, so Kevin’s Vietnamese heritage gives him a valuable insight into how to gain maximum market penetration.
Only 5km from the CBD, Footscray is experiencing rapid growth and Nguyen Real Estate is working alongside local builders and property developers on a range of exciting new projects. We’re also making our mark on the local auction scene, selling a penthouse in the heart of Footscray for a record price of $1,250,000 within 45 days.
Nguyen Real Estate Agent Profiles
Kevin Thuong Luan Nguyen – Owner & DirectorKevin was brought up in Maidstone, a short walk from Footscray’s iconic Barkly Street, and spent his formative years enjoying all the inner west has to offer.
He’s a Licensed Real Estate Agent and REIV member who spent 13 years in the rental, sales and commercial property market before founding Nguyen Real Estate in 2012.
His intimate knowledge of the western suburbs – and Footscray in particular – coupled with his Vietnamese heritage help Kevin anticipate and evaluate not only trends in the property market but also the impact of the way the local community is growing and being developed.
Andy Toan PhamAndy’s experience in real estate has reinforced how significant a milestone buying or selling a house is to the people involved, so he has made it his calling card to treat each interaction as the most important one to him, too.
He sees himself as a guide to those going on this exciting journey and aims to make it as enjoyable as possible, at the same time minimising the stress of such a major life event.
While aiming to provide outstanding care and service, Andy appreciates that the ultimate satisfaction comes from achieving the best result for you.
Lisa Tran – Property Supervisor
Lisa has been a valuable member of the Nguyen Real Estate team from the start, not only ensuring that the office runs smoothly but that every client request or enquiry receives a timely response.
She commutes daily from Geelong, where she graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) before completing the REIV Agent Representative course.
Her friendly manner and outstanding attention to detail are ideal characteristics for property management, while her dual role means that there isn’t much that goes on in the business that Lisa isn’t across.
Helen Vu – Administration
Helen has brought her great energy to the Nguyen Real Estate office and has made herself invaluable by always being ready to help out wherever she can.
Whether that’s day-to-day operations, office management, administration, client liaison, or property management, she has the ability and attitude to rise to any challenge.
She has come a long way in a short time, from Melbourne University science student doing work experience, to skilled customer service provider, and has continued to impress both colleagues and clients with her capability.
In her spare time, Helen plays badminton and loves listening to music.
Joanne Dang – Property Manager Associate
Joanne started in real estate as an administrator and, through her dealings with agents and clients, became immersed in and intrigued by the ins and outs of the business.
After buying her first home, she completed the Agent Representative Course so that she could keep learning and go further in the real estate business she had grown to love.
Having been through the experience of finding and buying a home herself, Joanne understands how much real estate is a “people” business, even though she does enjoying dealing with the bricks and mortar and dollars and cents!
